Convention Hall Town Meeting Scheduled

CAPE MAY — The city will hold a town meeting Thur., June 24 at 7 p.m. at Cape May Elementary School on the topic of the Convention Hall project.
Mayor Edward J. Mahaney Jr. told the Herald the purpose of the meeting is to communicate clearly and accurately to the public the actual progress that has been made to make the new Convention Hall facility a reality.
“There will be a full status report including our analysis of the bid documentation,” he said. “There will be a presentation of a plan that could make hall a reality in the very near future.”
Participants will include the architect, construction engineer, geothermal/mechanical engineer, city auditor Leon Costello and a business plan presentation from Dr. Aubrey Kent of Temple University.
