Convention Hall Reduced to a Frame

By Jack Fichter

CAPE MAY – Convention Hall has been reduced to a roof and structural supports on day three of demolition.
Despite rain and wind, the Albrecht & Heun wrecking crew worked throughout the day Wed. Dec. 1. A mountain of debris from the interior of Convention Hall has been hauled away. About one-quarter of the Solarium remained standing,
The ocean is visible from Beach Avenue looking through Convention Hall which now resembles an airplane hangar.
