By Jack Fichter

CAPE MAY — The demolition of Convention Hall will be wrapped up by Dec. 17, according to City Manager Bruce MacLeod.
Excavators and a front end loader are gathering up what remains of the building’s foundation. The building had been reduced to chunks of concrete and rubble.
The city will receive bid for installation of pilings on Dec. 17. Construction of a new Convention Hall is set to begin in May 2011.
