Contract Awarded For Woodbine Generator Project

WOODBINE — The Borough of Woodbine has awarded a contract in the amount of $80,462.50 for the purchase and installation of a new Emergency Generator for the Woodbine Municipal Building to Janney Electric, Inc.
Bidders were: Multi-Temp Mechanical, Inc., $133,990; Scalfo Electric, Inc., $127,800; Janney Electric, Inc., $80,462.50.
Funding for this project was received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency through the State Hazard Mitigation Office New Jersey Office of Emergency Management.
“With the installation of this back-up system, the Borough will be able to operate during times of power failure,” stated Mayor Pikolycky. “This is vital for the health, safety, and welfare of the our Borough residents.”
