WILDWOOD CREST ─ According to Borough Administrator Constance Mahon, a contract was awarded to South Shore LLC for the Sunset Lake Stabilization Project. The contract was authorized Oct. 10, and work is scheduled to begin the first week of November. A new kayak launch and other features encompass part of the project’s scope, including landscaping, shore stabilization, benches, and lighting. Borough officials were able to obtain an extension from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in order to complete the project and retain funding.
