COURT HOUSE – During its April 22 meeting, the Middle Township Council awarded a contract to Brinkerhoff Environmental Services, of Monmouth County. The firm will work to ensure the township can meet child care licensing requirements at the Martin Luther King Center, in Whitesboro.
The contract is not to exceed $5,000.
The state Department of Children and Families creates environmental requirements, which must be met as a prerequisite for a license to operate a child care center. These regulations call for an assessment by a licensed site remediation professional, as well as safe drinking water certification.
