Congressman LoBiondo to Speak at County’s Veterans’ Day Services

COURT HOUSE — Cape May County Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton reminds residents and visitors to join the county in honoring and remembering veterans on Veterans’ Day Nov. 11, 2013. The County will hold a special service at 2 p.m. at the Cape May County Veterans’ Cemetery located at 129 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, NJ.
Distinguished speakers will include Congressman Frank LoBiondo, Captain Todd Prestidge, Commanding Officer, USCG Training Center Cape May, Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton and Freeholder E. Marie Hayes. Also, invited to speak is Eagle Scout candidate Ryan Casey who completed two projects at the Veterans’ Cemetery for his Eagle Scout Project.
Additionally, the program will include the USCG Ceremonial Detail TRACEN and veterans’ organizations from throughout Cape May County will remember veterans by presenting wreaths during the ceremony.
