SEA ISLE CITY – Council members approved a resolution to award a contract for asbestos abatement at their Aug. 23 regular meeting.
The work, which will cost the city $116,000, is necessary to prepare the city’s new community center. The new center is set to be placed at 4501 Park Ave.
The award was given to Plymouth Environmental, a Pennsylvania company. Their bid was described as the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
