City Updates on Seawall Project

NORTH WILDWOOD ─ According to City Council, the seawall extension will now proceed to 6th Avenue. Mayor Patrick Rosenello said without the bulkhead, damage from recent nor’easters would have been “catastrophic” to JKF Boulevard and condos. Serious erosion to the city’s beaches propels the city forward with the extension. Work may go through the summer season. The bulkhead will also be extended to 7th Avenue if warranted. City officials are securing permits.
