City Seeks to Dismiss Byron’s Suit

Court Gavel Image

By Rachel Rogish

WILDWOOD – On Oct. 30, a motion was filed by defendants Mayor Ernie Troiano, Commissioner Anthony Leonetti, and City Administrator Christopher Fox to dismiss Commissioner Peter Byron’s complaint. As explained by attorney Alain Leibman and Byron, Superior Court Judge Michael Blee denied the interim relief Oct. 9; however, the actual complaint was left “in place.” If dismissed, Byron would be compelled to pay the city’s legal fees. The motion will be heard Nov. 30. Byron and his attorney have an allotted time to contest the motion before Nov. 30.
