NORTH WILDWOOD ─ City Council passed a resolution awarding a contract Oct. 2 for solid waste and recycling collection. According to City Administrator Kevin Yecco, “This contract is still $100,000 less than what the city had in 2008.” Yecco added that the competitive bid market in Cape May County, regarding waste and recycling collection, is not high. However, Solicitor William Kaufmann confirmed that the agreement has several options built into the contract.
