NORTH WILDWOOD ─ City Council passed a resolution March 6 providing for a Junior Firemen’s Auxiliary. According to Mayor Patrick Rosenello, the North Wildwood Fire Department, a career department, is “heading up” the Auxiliary as part of recruiting efforts.
The Auxiliary is designed to attract young people and interest them in fire service. The program offers training and experience for participants who may subsequently join volunteer and career units.
