NORTH WILDWOOD – City Council introduced an amendment to an ordinance regarding the Boardwalk Nov. 7. According to City Clerk Scott Jett, boardwalk merchants have followed an “unspoken” practice of selling merchandise outside of stores after Labor Day. The amendment would allow merchants to have “sidewalk sales.” However, the Tramcar route cannot be blocked. The amendment will be presented for the final vote Nov. 20 at the regularly scheduled council meeting.
