NORTH WILDWOOD ─  At a Dec. 19 meeting, city council approved the formation of a Historical Commission, a seven-chair committee created for the continued education and care of the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse. According to City Clerk Scott Jett, the commission chairs will be filled at the Jan. 2 reorganization meeting. A trust fund is also in place for the proper designation of donations given to the lighthouse.
Council also passed amendments to city dumpster regulations, alcoholic beverages (wristbands), and mercantile license fees on second reading.
