NORTH WILDWOOD ─ “Planning for tomorrow” took center stage Jan. 16 as City Council swore in two full-time firefighters, Craig Michael Thompson and Vincent Mascio. Thompson and Mascio, of Egg Harbor Township, have served in North Wildwood collectively for six years. Mayor Patrick Rosenello thanked Fire Chief Dominick McClain for the department’s recruiting program and efforts. Police Capt. Kevin Tolan took the oath as deputy police chief. Council also approved the appointment of Valerie DeJoseph, Gary Montgomery, and Mary Kane to the Historical Commission and the demolition of the Heston Gas Station. A lien will be placed on the property, according to Rosenello.
