COURT HOUSE – Learn how to understand the power of social media to promote your business at the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce’s “Social Networking Seminar Round II.” This seminar is designed to enhance business marketing efforts using web-based tools, with a focus on the development of page; benefits for business using social media; why using multimedia enhances engagement; why social media is replacing the 1-800 number for customer service; tips and techniques on how to manage/monitor the page; and trending sources to keep businesses up-to-date.
Guest speaker Geoffrey Pettifer is the director of college marketing for Atlantic Cape Community College. Geoff has won national and regional awards for marketing campaigns, publications and special events, and as a team leader, plays a key role in the design, development and launch of new media marketing strategies for ACCC.
The event is Thursday, Jan. 13 at the Atlantic Cape Community College Court House campus. Check-in, networking and continental breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. The seminar is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and optional question and answer session from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pre-registration is required with limited seating.
