PETERSBURG – The Upper Township Committee honored Gayle Davidson, a member of the Citizens Emergency Response Team, for her response and quick action after witnessing, Feb. 9, a major automobile accident on Route 9 in Seaville while off duty. In a resolution praising Davidson, they cited how, after seeing the head-on collision and calling 911, she provided to the dispatcher details regarding the car’s trapped occupant, the downed utility pole, and the grass fire that had started. She remained on-scene after the emergency crews arrived and assisted with traffic control. Davidson was thanked by the committee and commended for her quick thinking, initiative, and professional action.
