Cape May Names New City Clerk

By Vince Conti

CAPE MAY – With her husband and 11-month old son looking on, Erin Burke was unanimously appointed the new city clerk for Cape May, as of March 7.
Burke served as deputy clerk to out-going Clerk Patricia Harbora, who is stepping down at the end of her recent three-year contract.
Burke’s promotion leaves her without a deputy. Getting some help will be one early order of business.
Burke is married to an active duty Coast Guard member. She was appointed deputy city clerk on March 7, 2017.
