CREST HAVEN – The Cape May County Communications Office is the recipient of eight 2011 Awards of Excellence. The awards are presented annually by the National Association of County Information Officers for excellence in communications. Cape May County won the following awards:
• 2011 Best of Class Award and 2011 Excellence Award for the Cape May County Government Electronic Newsletter in two categories
• 2011 Superior Award for the Cape May County 2010 Calendar in Photography Category
• 2011 Superior Award for the county website in Computer Media: Internet/Intranet Web Sites & Interactive Media category
• 2011 Excellence Award for the Cape May County Government’s Public Awareness Campaign in the Special Projects: County Government Works category
• 2011 Excellence Award for the Cape May County 2010 Directory in the Publications category
• 2011 Meritorious Award for the monthly television show, “The Cape May County Report”
• 2011 Meritorious Award in the writing category for the 2010 Budget Release
