STONE HARBOR – During the Stone Harbor Borough Council meeting Sept. 17, Beach Patrol Capt. Sandy Bosacco said that the borough “beaches are getting more active late in the season” when it is difficult retaining lifeguards.
Clear weather and encouragement from local business and tourism officials have resulted in growing numbers of people visiting the borough and using the beaches past Labor Day.
Local communities have experienced fewer applications for lifeguard positions, and retaining them late in the season is challenging.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
