Borough of Woodbine 2012 Budget to Reduce Local Purpose Tax

By Press Release

WOODBINE – Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Borough of Woodbine introduced, at its March 15 Council meeting, the Budget for 2012. The Local Purpose tax continues to be stable for the 22st consecutive year. The rate is at 23.7 cents per $100 assessed value, down from 24 cents last year.
The 2012 spending plan calls for a total budget of $2.2 million. This figure does not include grants that the Borough is currently pursuing or those that are presently under contract. It maintains funding for capital improvements and also maintains the current level of services for the community.
Public Hearing on the municipal budget will be held at the April 19 Borough Council meeting, starting at 8 p.m.
