Borough Meeting Canceled

WEST WILDWOOD — The West Wildwood Board of Commissioners canceled their monthly meeting. The meeting, scheduled for Fri., Aug. 5 at 5 p.m. was canceled due to a lack of quorum.
An announcement made available by the borough hall states: “Due to notification to to this office that Commissioner McNamara will be unavailable and that the mayor remains hospitalized and is continuing recovery from his accident, the August 5, 2011 Commission meeting of the Borough of West Wildwood is hereby canceled due to lack of quorum.”
Borough Mayor Herbert “Chuck” Frederick remains a patient at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. He was admitted there last month after falling from a ladder at his home. His initial condition when hospitalized was critical but stable; his condition was recently upgraded to serious.
