WEST WILDWOOD – According to officials, the Borough of West Wildwood received its Small Cities Grant totaling $400,000 for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements. Borough Administrator Christopher Ridings said those funds are for ramps, one at the Glenwood and Bay avenues beach, and the second to be repaired at the police station. According to Ridings, the ramp at the police station has become unattached and must be repaired. A ramp at Bay Avenue will increase beach access. Further cleaning at the beach will also take place. The grant was announced during the Feb. 6 Commissioners’ meeting.
