STONE HARBOR – During an Oct. 16 report of the Public Safety Committee which he heads, Stone Harbor Council Member Raymond Parzych said that police would begin plain-clothes patrols of beaches earlier in the summer of 2019. The effort will be a response to complaints about the drinking of alcohol on the beaches.
Parzych also said that the borough would be looking into areas where cameras might be useful to protect public safety.
