WILDWOOD ─ City Commissioners passed a supplement to its no-smoking policy on the Boardwalk Sept. 12. In compliance with the “New Jersey Smoke-Free Air Act,” vapors and electric cigarettes are prohibited. State law prohibits smoking at “public beaches and parks.” As previously explained by City Solicitor Mary D’Arcy Bittner, the supplement brings the city’s policy into compliance with Gov. Phil Murphy’s legislation.
The amendment was introduced Aug. 22 and passed Sept 12.
