Avalon to Offer Holiday Beach Tags

By Press Release

AVALON – The Borough of Avalon will begin selling its very popular holiday beach tags for the 2014 summer season during the Borough’s Friday event, and again the following day at a brand new event, Snowfest Saturday on Nov. 29 and 30. Each day the tags will be on sale inside the Avalon Rescue Squad building located at 31st Street and Dune Drive in Avalon between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. both days.
This year’s holiday beach tag depicts two holiday bells tied together with a red ribbon. The beach tags will cost $21 apiece and come in a decorative box. The holiday beach tags are seasonal beach tags and may be used for the entire 2014 beach season in Avalon. Beach tags are required during the summer season between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. These holiday beach tags come at no price increase from the seasonal tags sold during the 2013 beach season. During this two-day event, cash and checks will be accepted for payment.
While supplies last, holiday beach tags will also be available for purchase through the Avalon Tax Collector’s Office located at Avalon Borough Hall, 3100 Dune Drive in Avalon. The office is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Cash and checks are accepted for payment.
