ATLANTIC CITY – Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage will hold a new attorney swearing-in ceremony Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. in Courtroom 3A on the third floor of the Atlantic County Civil Courts Building, 1201 Bacharach Blvd., Atlantic City.
Assignment Judge Julio L. Mendez will preside over the event. Vicinage judges will participate in the ceremony by swearing in their law clerks and other new attorneys.
Representatives from the Atlantic and Cape May County Bar Associations will give remarks. The families of the new attorneys are invited to attend.
“We are honored to welcome new members to the legal profession and congratulate the new lawyers and their families for such a great accomplishment,” stated Mendez in a release. Any candidate who would like to be sworn in at the ceremony must contact Jeanne Seymour at (609) 594-3278 or jeanne.seymour@njcourts.gov by Nov. 28.
Wildwood Crest – Dual elected positions are not allowed in NJ. I am curious as to how Will Morey can be a county commissioner and on the Wildwood Crest school board.
