MAYS LANDING — While Atlantic Cape Community College President Peter Mora is doing an “excellent” job in the eyes of the Board of Trustees, his compensation will remain at its 2010-11 level, for the economic interests of the college, according to a release.
Trustees met Feb. 28, and Mora’s compensation was among items on the agenda.
It is the second year in a row he was not offered a pay increase. The release indicated Mora and trustees were in accord with the decision.
The action took place after his annual compensation review and performance evaluation.
According to the resolution passed by trustees, “Prevailing economic conditions in the State of New Jersey as well as in the region served by the college have led to uncertainty regarding future funding levels thereby creating a need to carefully address all college expenditures.”
Mora’s annual salary is $179,571. Atlantic Cape’s board will make a 10 percent unmatched contribution to his pension and provide car allowance
