Amend Park Uses

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City Council approved an ordinance July 24 on  first reading to amend revision of the use of its parks and recreation facilities with specific reference to Excursion Park. According to City Solicitor Paul Baldini much of the rationale for the ordinance is to amend old language referring to “commissioners” as related to Excursion Park. Other goals of the proposed ordinance are to establish protocols for using the municipality’s facilities for 1,000 people or more and to clarify and extend the timing of special event permits.
