DENNISVILLE – Dennis Township Committee passed on second reading, June 12 with no public comment, an ordinance that amends municipal regulations regarding “games of chance.” The ordinance delegates authority to the municipal clerk, currently Jacqueline Justice, as the “issuing authority” to approve the granting of bingo and raffle licenses taking place in the municipality. Anyone seeking such a license must file an application with the clerk on forms that office will provide.
