Former County Health Inspector Killed in San Bernardino Shooting

COURT HOUSE – A former Cape May County resident was one of the 14 people killed in the mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif. Dec. 2, according to a report on Philly.com.
Nicholas Thalasinos worked as a health inspector for the Cape May County Health Department before moving to California more than a decade ago where he took a similar job, the report said.
Thalasinos, father to two adult sons, had lived in Middle Township when he was in Cape May County.
There has been an outpouring of posts on Thalasinos’ Facebook page mourning his loss, describing him as ‘inspiring,’ ‘devout’ and ‘a wonderful man.’
