WOODBINE — Members of Belleplain and Dennis volunteer fire companies, mutual aid departments for Woodbine Fire Department, joined forces to help “house” Woodbine’s 2007 Elite, 1500 gallon-per-minute pumper at the Oct. 7 ceremonial housing.
Many area fire companies set representatives to the festive event.
Members of neighboring companies traditionally assist the home company by pushing the new apparatus into the firehouse.
Trophies and refreshments were part of the afternoon’s festivities.
