Wildwood – City firefighters responded to 2720 Park Boulevard for a vehicle fire at 1:32 a.m. Nov. 29.
Engine 38 – A Platoon, under the command of Captain Troiano, arrived and found the vehicle fire was extending to a dwelling. North Wildwood Fire Department Engine 2 was requested to assist. Firefighters extinguished the fire along with a dwelling located at 307 West Poplar which sustained severe heat damage. A van that was parked next to the vehicle on fire had also sustained heat damage.
The Wildwood Police Department, Fire Department and Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the fire. No injuries were reported.
