Whitesboro Fire Extinguished

WHITESBORO – A structure fire in the 800 block of Scott Street was reported March 8 at approximately 12 p.m.
Green Creek, Erma, Court House, Goshen and Rio Grande Fire Departments answered the call. The tanker task force was called as well.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire was extinguished.
American Red Cross Southern Shore Chapter also responded. One adult male was displaced from his home as his home was destroyed. American Red Cross disaster response volunteers met with the residents and provided emergency assistance for temporary lodging, clothing, seasonal garments and food. Referrals to other human service organizations were also provided to further the resident’s recovery efforts.
