Whitesboro Family Displaced After Fire

WHITESBORO – One adult and two children have been displaced following a structure fire here on the 700 block of S. Gibbs St.
Rio Grande and Green Creek Fire Departments were dispatched around 8:35 p.m. on June 30.
When firefighters arrived they reported fire in the rear of the single family home. The fire was later reported to be under control at 9 p.m.
The county fire marshal was requested to the scene to investigate a hot water heater that may have been the cause, according to Middle Township police. The Red Cross was requested to the scene to assist the residents.
