Volunteer Fire Company Dedicates New Home, New Engine

COURT HOUSE — On Saturday, Oct. 3, Middle Township Volunteer Fire Co. #1 will dedicate its new fire station and unveil a new fire engine, a 2009 Pierce Arrow XT RUC Rescue Pumper.
The new fire house is located between Hand Avenue and Mechanic Street adjacent to the railroad tracks and two blocks south of Route 9 in downtown Court House.
Prior to the formal dedication and housing of the new fire engine, firefighters will conduct a parade starting at noon from the substation on Route 9 in Swainton. The parade route will proceed south on Route 9 to Hand Avenue and then west to the new fire station.
