VILLAS – Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at Old World Bakery, located on the 1500 block of Bayshore Road around 9 a.m. Feb. 29.
Lower Township Police Officers responded and diverted traffic from the area and assumed crowd control while members of Villas, Town Bank, Erma and Green Creek fire companies quickly extinguished the blaze.
The scene was turned over to the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Officer for further investigation. There were no reported injuries.
