UPDATE: Firefighters Called to Greenhouse Blaze

BURLEIGH — According to Middle Township police, at about 2:11 p.m. on April 12, Rio Grande and Green Creek volunteer firefighters were summoned to a shed fire at 119 Indian Trail Road.
When officers arrived, they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from a greenhouse that belonged to Ralph Shuman of that address.
Cape May County Fire Police were asked to provide manpower to direct traffic away from the scene at Route 47 and Indian Trail and at Pennsylvania Avenue and Indian Trail.
The Cape May County Fire Marshal was also called to the scene to ascertain the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported. Indian Trail was closed for about an hour.
The case was investigated by Patrolman Feliz Cruz, Detective Clint Stocker and the Fire Marshal’s Office.
