UPDATE: Firefighters Battle Villas Blaze

VILLAS – Villas and other Lower Township fire companies were dispatched to a structure fire on the north end of Delaware Avenue at 4:06 p.m. Nov. 5.
The blaze in the unoccupied seasonal residence was extinguished shortly after firefighters’ arrival. A nearby dwelling sustained minor damage as a result of the incident, according to radio reports from the scene.
Utility companies to secure service. The county Fire Marshal were on scene at 4:45 p.m. to investigate the origin of the fire.
No further information was available.
