RIO GRANDE– The Rio Grande and Green Creek fire departments were called to Avalon Coffee, 3167 Route 9 Thursday May 20 about 4:20 pm. for a report of a structure fire.
The cause of smoke in the building was a burning coffee roaster. Firefighters removed the roaster to the rear parking lot and ventilated the building.
