Red Flag Warning in Effect Until 8 PM

The combination of gusty northwest winds low relative humidity values and dry fuels will create a high fire danger across the
area from as early as late this morning into this evening. As a result a Red Flag Warning has been issued until 8 pm edt this evening.
Cape May County Forecast
This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 61. Breezy, with a west northwest wind between 16 and 20 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. North northwest wind between 3 and 8 mph.
Tuesday: A chance of rain after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 56. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Rain, mainly after 8pm. Low around 51. South southeast wind between 11 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
