Ocean View Firefighters Battle Motor Vehicle Fire

No injuries were reported after a motor vehicle caught fire on the Garden State Parkway Jan. 16.

OCEAN VIEW – At approximately 4:11 p.m. Jan. 16, the Ocean View Fire Company was dispatched to the Garden State Parkway, in the area of milepost 17 S, for a vehicle fire.
According to a release, Chief 17 arrived and reported a fully engulfed vehicle on the shoulder. Squad 17 arrived and stretched a line to extinguish the fire along with crews from Engine 17.
All occupants were out of the vehicle, and there were no reported injuries.
