By Herald Staff

SEASIDE HEIGHTS- A press conference was held on Tuesday Sept. 17 to discuss the Seaside Park and Seaside Heights boardwalk fire. Officials have ruled the fire as accidental. Federal and county investigators said that wiring damaged during Hurricane Sandy was to blame as the cause of the fire. The massive blaze destroyed over 50 businesses.
Officials warn coastal property owners to get their own equipment inspected to avoid another tragedy such as this one.
