Moose Lodge Fire Not Suspicious

ERMA – At approximately 12:24 a.m. Dec. 19, the Lower Township Police Department, along with Erma, Town Bank, Villas and Rio Grande fire departments responded to a structure fire at the Moose Lodge No. 1054 at 569 Seashore Road.
The building was evacuated, and the fire was extinguished within minutes of the fire companies’ arrival, according to a release.  
Fire officials from Lower Township and the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated and deemed the fire was not of suspicious origin.
