Kitchen Fire Displaces Villas Couple

VILLAS– A couple was displaced from their home on Tuesday night after grease on their stove caught fire, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
Villas Fire Lt. Andy Hilvert said in the report, firefighters responded to the Locust Street home at about 6:45 p.m., and put out the fire within 10 minutes. The Town Bank and Erma companies also responded.
The couple’s insurance company is providing them with accommodations until the damage can be repaired. Damage was confined to the kitchen, and no one was injured in the fire, the report said.
