Jeep Ablaze in Woodbine Parking Lot

WOODBINE — On May 23, shortly before 11 p.m. Woodbine firefighters responded to a Jeep Wrangler on fire in the parking lot of Smokey’s Meat Market on County Road 550 and Washington Avenue.
The fire started in the rear passenger side seat and quickly spread fully engulfing the Jeep in three minutes.
Fire command requested the county fire marshal to the scene to further investigate.
Belleplain Emergency Corps was on standby as firefighters worked to bring the fire under control.
