Green Creek Fire Company Battles Del Haven Blaze

DEL HAVEN – Firefighters responded to a structure fire on the 100 Block of Lafayette Avenue in Del Haven around 3:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
Sources say the fire started in a shed and took part of the house, burning the aluminum siding. The fire spread and burned part of the garage next door.
No injuries were reported.
Green Creek Fire Company responded, along with Rio Grande Rescue Squad and Middle Township Police Department.
The fire is being investigated by the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office.
