Grease Fire Damages Wildwood Apartment

WILDWOOD – Police received a call of a grease fire in the kitchen of 121
W. Poplar Ave., Mon, April 16 about 2:30 p.m.
When Wildwood Fire arrived on scene a box alarm was put out
for North Wildwood, Wildwood paid and volunteer.
Fire was put out in about 30 minutes. Heavy damage done to a first floor apartment.
The family was home at the time of fire.
Due to the high temperature, added manpower was needed
for the safety of the firefighters.
The American Red Cross was called to help the families displaced by the fire.
