Firefighters Respond to Whitesboro Blaze

WHITESBORO – A structure fire in an occupied dwelling, in the vicinity of George and Sumner streets, was reported to Middle Township Police at 1:27 p.m. April 10. A woman in the house was able to safely exit the blaze.
Firefighters from Rio Grande, Green Creek, Court House and Erma responded, as did Middle Township Emergency Medical Services and police.
Court House Fire Department was asked to take a tanker to the scene. Villas Fire Department was called to cover for Green Creek, and Court House was asked to cover for Rio Grande.
The Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to ascertain the origin of the fire.
No further information was available.
