By Press Release

WILDWOOD – On Oct. 12 at 11:07 a.m., the Wildwood Fire Department Squad 3, under the command of Capt. Sacco, and the North Wildwood Fire Department Quint 2 responded to a laundromat in the 2800 block of Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood for a reported commercial dryer fire.
According to a release, FO3, Fire Official Cripps, arrived and reported a fire in the dryer extending to the structure with smoke throughout. Deputy Chief Troiano arrived, assumed command and requested the all-hands due to it being a possible building fire.

Wildwood Police were on scene assisting with traffic. Units operated for about an hour.
There were no reported injuries. The fire remains under investigation.
